“Love has to be put into action and that action is service. Whatever form we are, able or disabled, rich or poor, it is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing; a lifelong sharing of love with others.”  Mother Teresa

Ah, June—it’s that love-filled month when most weddings take place in a calendar year, leading to countless honeymoons and anniversaries. Speaking of which, my hubby and I will be celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary on June 16th.

Love can be a noun or a verb, but without action, it’s merely a word. Sure, telling someone and being told we’re loved is very nice, but showing someone and being shown we’re loved—love being put into action—is priceless.

Love in action is when your spouse/partner fills your car’s gas tank so you won’t have to, or warms up your side of the bed on a cold night before you get in it. It’s when you’re sick and your friend brings you hot soup and medicine on their way home from work, or gets out of bed at 10:30 pm to pick you up at the airport because your flight was delayed and your car engine died in the parking lot.

It’s when people take the time to really listen to each other, or give reassuring pats on the back or comforting hugs. It’s being cradled and tucked into bed as a child, or having our hands held when we’re sick or scared. It’s being of service to others.

People say that Bio-Touch is love and love is Bio-Touch. Why? Because Bio-Touch is so much more than a touch-healing technique that relieves pain and stress. It’s one person lightly touching another in a way that lets them both benefit—being present in the moment as equals. Talk about putting love into action!

  1. You are not using the song “Put Love Into Action” to help generate interest in BioTouch. (?) why not?
