I love Bio-Touch for its simplicity, effectiveness, philosophy, and accessibility (given freely!). Health should be a birthright for all and Bio-Touch puts that into practice. Bio-Touch has helped me recover from chronic illness, and re-engage fully with life. I am so grateful for its healing powers and for the Bio-Touch community. I became a Certified Practitioner in 2017.
My work and volunteer life has been an evolving tapestry. I have worked as a field ornithologist and botanist, as a vegetation ecologist doing conservation work in the state of Washington where I grew up, as a crisis clinic volunteer and trainer, as a community mediator, as a mental health counselor and psychotherapist in New Mexico, and as a college instructor. I also practice Jyorei (divine Light healing) and meditation. I am trained in teaching Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, a therapeutic application of Buddist meditation techniques. I have dealved deeply into working with Nature as a healing and empowering partner, both for myself and for clients, through ecotherapy and earth-based ceremonies, including Vision Quest, and have a certificate in Transformational Eco-psychology.
I am currently self-employed as a birding and nature guide leading small groups in New Mexico and Southeast Arizona. My business is called Take Flight Birding and Nature Adventures and you can find it on Facebook. I am also a licensed counselor in both Arizona and New Mexico, where I will be soon opening a private psychotherapy practice. My intention is to bring Bio-Touch to New Mexico and in the interim, I may be available for private Bio-Touch sessions – don’t hesitate to contact me if you are interested and located in Albuquerque or Santa Fe.
